Dry Chemical (Multi-Purpose or ABC)
Go outside to an open area. Turn the extinguisher UPSIDE DOWN (this will dispel the gas, and not the dry chemical). Have the wind at your back and discharge the extinguisher until completely empty, or there are no sounds heard coming from the extinguisher. The remaining powder is primarily a baking soda compound. This can now be safely disposed of with your normal refuse in accordance to your municipality.
