This course for the lay responder teaches:

Recognition and emergency resuscitation techniques for adult heart attack, stoke, and choking |

Injury and cardiac arrest prevention |

Treatment of cardiac emergencies |

Choking in infants and children |
A credential (card) documenting successful CPR course completion will be issued to participants. This card will be mailed to you.

BLS Healthcare Provider CPR Course
The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to:

Recognize several life threatening emergencies |

Provide CPR |
|
Use an AED |
|
Relieve choking |
The course is intended for certified or non-certified, licensed or non-licensed healthcare professionals.
A credential (card) documenting successful CPR course completion will be issued to participants. This card will be mailed to you.

Station tours are available to area schools, scout troops and other small groups. Station tours are at our headquarters facility (Station 1) only and consist of a guided tour of the entire station, training area and apparatus bay including vehicles. The Darien-Woodridge Fire Protection District will attend your block party. Call Kelly at (630) 910-2200 ext. 505 or send an email. Crews will make every effort to attend and adhere to the times requested. However, these crews are on-duty personnel and emergency situations take precedent. This may delay or prevent our appearance at your event.
School & Scout Safety Programs
