File of Life
File of Life is an emergency medical card, which contains vital information about
you. The File of Life card,
completed by you, is inserted in a red magnetic pouch, which is placed on your
refrigerator door. The card
accompanies you when you go to the hospital.
The
purpose of the “File of Life” is to have a standardized medical record in
your home easily accessible for emergency medical personnel as well as, Police
Officers.
File of Life kits are available at all of the Darien-Woodridge Fire stations. The cost is $1 per kit.
