Service Awards

Good Samaritan Service Awards

15 Years - Lt. Daniel Krakora and FF/PM James Karasek

5 Years - FF/PM Brian Isley, FF/PM Jennifer Phillips and FF/PM Frederick Reynolds

Award of Merit was presented to Firefighter Rytis Juzolenas (pictured below with Chief Robert Tinucci) for his efforts in the updating and enhancements to the District’s pre-plan maps and floor plans.  He is to be commended for his skill and ability to utilize a computerized drawing program to create professional and accurate drawings to assist and guide the emergency crews on a daily basis.  It is for this year-long project and continued work that he was recognized for this award.  

Employee of the Year 2005 award was presented to Lt. Daniel Krakora (pictured below with Chief Robert Tinucci) as nominated by his fellow employees and judged to be the most deserving.  Dan has been cited to be very organized and professional in his manner to coordinate the District’s Emergency Medical Service Program.  His attributes include his caring approach to assist all of the medical personnel in their continuing education and to act in the liaison role between our personnel and Good Samaritan EMS Department.  He is directly responsible for the development of the specifications and in-service preparations for the recently purchased ambulance.  He provided oversight and training of our personnel for the new computerized reporting systems.  His long-standing involvement in the EMS Division has provided numerous benefits to our district and our personnel.
